How is the property market in Upper Shirley?
The property market in Upper Shirley is strong and highly impacted by the lack of stock amongst many prospective buyers. This means properties coming to the market do not tend to sit on the market for long providing they are priced appropriately.
As Upper Shirley is an established residential area this is trend is likely to continue and similar to other areas in Southampton – we anticipate that prices might stabilise or grow at a slower rate, but unlikely to decrease.
Depending on the size and condition of the property, you generally will have to expect to pay around £475,000-£550,000 for a detached three-bedroom house and around £425,000 +/- for a semi-detached three bedroom house.
Other:
For the purpose of this analysis, we have chosen the Lower Super Output Area that covers the most of Upper Shirley, but as the boundaries are not perfect – this might mean the coverage is not full.
Our price estimate is a broad number and might not be reflective of an individual property.
